LEWISTON – Theodore “Ted” P. Taylor, 69, a resident of 94 Summer St., Auburn, died early Tuesday, April 21, at Montello Manor.

He was born in Greene, Aug. 27, 1939, the son of Charles O. and Bessie (Foss) Taylor Sr.

Ted had a special brother and caregiver, Brian Taylor, who was closest to him and cared for him. During Ted’s younger years, he had a liking for his father’s logging trucks.

He enjoyed keeping up with history, especially the history of World War II.

Survivors include three brothers, Richard Taylor and wife, Marjorie, of Tunica, Miss., Michael Taylor of Oxford and Brian Taylor and wife, Brenda, of Whitman, Mass.; two sisters, Barbara Russo of Leominster, Mass., and Lillian Snow and husband, Forrest, of Freeport; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles O. Taylor; and two sisters, Shirley Corey and Eleanor Gayton.
