PITTSFIELD – Senior Ben Rines had an outstanding performance on the mound, tossing 65 pitches and giving up only three hits and a walk, to lift Oak Hill to a 15-0 shuotut victory over Maine Central Institute in baseball action Friday.

The Raiders (1-0) received fine offensive output from Brett Turcotte, catcher Josh Prue and Cody Plourde with three hits apiece. Brett Turcotte also collected a two-run homerun en route to three RBI’s in the winning effort.

The Huskies’ starting pitcher, Nate Miller, only gave up three runs before being relieved in the fourth inning, and went 2-for-3 from the plate.

Oak Hill rallied for nine runs in the sixth inning to invoke the 15-run mercy rule.
