Thomas Holmes of Brunswick, with his fiance, Angela McRea, holds three Bronze Star medals awarded to him in Lewiston on Friday. Holmes was awarded the medals for his service in Iraq’s Desert Storm campaign and for his global war on terrorism service in Afghanistan. The medals were awarded during the Vet Center’s Mobile Unit visit to offer counseling servivces to veterans and active-duty military servicemen and women.
