FARMINGTON – Marilyn E. Jones, 72, (daughter of Forest and Alma Pinkham), passed away on Thursday, April 23, at Orchard Park Nursing Home, surrounded by her many loved ones after a long courageous battle with multiple health issues.

Her love of life and desire to live it to the fullest was an example to all who knew her. Always willing to lend a helping hand and to offer valued advice to anyone she thought she could help. She worked for many years at local shoe shops as well as Forster Manufacturing. Her favorite job was at a small shirt sewing shop in Grandville, N.Y.

One of 17 children, she was no stranger to hard work and had a deep sense of family devotion and loyalty. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She truly was a unique one of a kind person. Fiercely stubborn and independent. Always one to speak her mind, yet her old-fashioned ways, her devotion to her husband Frank, and love of life will live in the memories of all those that knew her.

She enjoyed family gatherings, traditional country music, travel, her pug dogs, yellow roses, her beloved state of Vermont and the company of anyone who had a moment to spend with her.

She is survived by her husband, Frank K. Jones; her only child, Randall T. Pinkham Sr. and wife, Patricia, of Farmington. She was very proud of her seven grandchildren, Joni Labbe of Wilton, Randall T. Pinkham Jr. of Wilton, Jean White of Livermore Falls, Travis T. Pinkham of East Wilton, Amanda Bunnell of Livermore Falls, Dakota Barry of Farmington and Amanda Barry of Phillips. She adored her seven great-grandchildren, Kerra, Makaeya, Noelle, Seth, Meagan, Joscyr and Ava.
