Arrests/Summonses:
On 4/20 – 2:52 p.m., Jessica Flynn, 25, of Dixfield was arrested by Sgt. Higley for domestic violence assault. Flynn posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.
On 4/20 – 6:09 p.m., Merton Pinkham, 31, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Higley for domestic violence assault. Pinkham was taken to the Oxford County Jail. Pinkham and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.
On 4/22 – 2:13 p.m., Tina Thomas, 38, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Winson for operating after suspension. Thomas posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.
On 4/23 – 7:27 p.m., Carl Oswald, 43, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Noyes for operating under the influence. Oswald posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.
On 4/24 – 11:55 p.m., Sherry Witas, 44, of Mexico was summoned by Ptl. Miller for operating under the influence. Witas is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.
On 4/25 – 12:45 a.m., 17-year-old Rumford male juvenile was summoned by Ptl. Miller for illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 7.
On 4/25 – 12:45 a.m. Deanna Welch, 19, of Rumford was summoned by Ptl. Miller for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Welch is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.
On 4/25 – 1:14 a.m., Jennifer Fligg, 31, of Berlin, N.H., was summoned by Cpl. Maifeld for operating under the influence. Fligg is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.
On 4/25 – 1:33 p.m., Jason Miller, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Winson for domestic violence assault. Miller was unable to post bail and was taken to the Oxford County Jail. Miller is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.
Assaults
On 4/24 – 9:05 p.m., Waldo Street resident reported being assaulted but subsequently refused to press charges. The three subjects involved were all warned for disorderly conduct.
Burglary
On 4/20 – 5:01 p.m., a former Railroad Street business was broken into and vandalized. The owner reported two remote control cars valued at $200 each stolen. It is under investigation.
Crash
On 4/23 – 3:10 p.m., a 2005 GMC Van owned by Kevin Milligan, 55, of Rumford was stopped at the bottom of Falls Hill preparing to turn left. A 1998 Saturn, operated by Alexander Morton, 39, of Rumford, was traveling down Falls Hill and failed to see the Milligan vehicle stopped. The Morton vehicle struck the rear of the Milligan vehicle. Approximately $1,500 damage to the rear of the Milligan vehicle; and $5,000 to the front of the Morton vehicle.
Criminal Mischief:
On 4/23 – 10:05 a.m., a report was received regarding vulgar graffiti under the Memorial Bridge Incident under Investigation.
On 4/24 – 11:02 a.m., Franklin Street resident reporting one of her tires had been knifed. Estimated damage $100. Incident under investigation.
On 4/25 – 8:47 a.m., patrol officers discovered picnic tables turned over and a variety of damage estimated at $100 at Hosmer Field. Incident under investigation.
