WESTBROOK (AP) – Maine police say the bodies of a husband and wife in the process of divorcing were found by their teenage daughters when they came home from school.

The bodies of 45-year-old Kenneth Taylor and 43-year-old Belinda Taylor were found Tuesday afternoon inside the couple’s Westbrook condominium. Police say the couple died from apparent stab wounds, but they do not believe anyone else was involved.

Police say the Taylors were in the process of ending their 14-year marriage. There was no history of prior domestic violence.

Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday.

The Taylors’ two daughters are being cared for by grandparents.
