Kids will learn to knit through library program

NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library Children’s Room will offer a knitting club for children in grades four to six from 3:15 to 5 p.m. Mondays, May 4, 11 and 18.

Students will knit a pair of socks in bright stripes, with volunteers helping each child to learn basic techniques. Yarn and knitting needles will be provided.

Space is limited and preregistration is required. Register by visiting the Children’s Room or calling 743-5308 by Friday, May 1.
