AUBURN – Denis Mailhot has been hired as collections/workout manager at Mechanics Savings Bank. He is responsible for oversight of the bank’s delinquent loan portfolio, as well as collection, restructure, litigation and liquidation efforts.
Prior to joining Mechanics Savings Bank, Mailhot served as a collection officer at Community Credit Union. Prior to that, he was employed at Fleet Bank (Bank of America) as a community development officer and assistant auditor.
He attended the University of Wisconsin, Bank Administration Institute Graduate School of Banking. He holds a master’s degree in pastoral studies from Loyola University of New Orleans, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine.
He is a member of the Museum L/A development committee, the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, and the Knights of Columbus Andy Valley Chapter 2173 and Auburn Council 8742. He lives in Auburn with his wife.
