I attended the Tax Day Tea Party in Augusta recently and would encourage anyone with a love and concern for this country and its future to attend upcoming events.
The left-wing media have given very little coverage to such a display of patriotism, and when they have, it often is portraying participants as racist, Obama-hating, ignorant, politically partisan rednecks — all of which are not true.
At the Augusta Tea Party, attendees were a full range of true Americans who are concerned for the nation’s future because of, among many issues, unrestrained spending and borrowing, personal freedoms underfire, and the Constitution endangered.
People should stay informed and attend upcoming events. The nation’s future depends on people’s participation and demanding that the politicians — all of them, Republican, Democrat and otherwise — be responsible to the people.
