DIXFIELD – The following incidents were handled recently by the Dixfield Police Department.

Arrest

• Trinity Wilson, 33, Averill Road, Dixfield, domestic assault, 1:20 p.m., April 16, on the Averill Road. She was released from the Dixfield Police Department on $600 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 5.

Accidents

Holly Whittemore, age unknown, Pennacook Road, Rumford, struck a deer at 7:37 p.m. April 2 as she was driving a 2006 Nissan SUV east on the Morrison Hill Road. The vehicle sustained $1,000 damage. The condition and whereabouts of the deer is unknown.

Justin Poirier, 25, Borden, Ontario, struck and killed a deer at 8:17 p.m. April 13 as he was driving his 2009 Honda sedan east on Route 2 just west of the village of East Dixfield. The vehicle sustained $1,500 damage.
