LEWISTON – Joan Barbara Pearl, 69, of Turner, died April 28.

Joan Barbara Frazer was born July 4, 1939, in Natick, Mass., the daughter of Annie (Hersey) Frazer and William G. Frazer Sr. In 1958, she was married to Arthur F. Pearl Jr., of Turner, until his death in 2002.

They owned and operated a dairy farm on Fish Street until they retired. She also worked for various local orchards picking and packing apples. She loved her family and working in her flower gardens. She enjoyed playing cards with everyone.

Survivors include her mother, Annie Frazer of Canton; her children, Bambi and Leland Bachelder Jr., Bonnie and Jake Coates, Arthur Pearl III of Turner and Brenda and Michael Porfirio of Austin, Texas; brothers, William Frazer and Gloria of Livermore and Charles Frazer and Cindy of Kissimmee, Fla.; a sister, Judy VanBlarcom and husband, Steven, of Wallingford, Conn.; grandchildren, Michele and Ryan Bachelder, Nicholas Coates and fiancee, Ashley Titus, Shane, Kaisha and Cortney Pearl and Alicia Porfirio; great-grandchildren, Harley Bachelder and Noah Alexander; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband; father; and great-granddaughters, Tylee and Kacey Hobbs.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Hospice House, John Whalen, the Titus family and the Blanchard family for all their support.
