The date was changed owing to the recent snow storm so that the crew was not a large one. The dimensions of the barn are 100×32 ft. with posts 20 ft. in the clear.

AUGUSTA – Gov. Joseph E. Brennan is expected on Thursday to sign the bill granting a 4-cent per gallon, four-year phase out excise tax exemption on Maine-produced ethanol.

Final enactment of the measure, aimed at providing tax relief to New England Ethanol Products Inc. for its proposed plant in Auburn, came in the hectic waning hours of the legislative session last week.

When Brennan signs the measure in his State House office, a delegation of Auburn and Lewiston officials, including Auburn Mayor John Cleveland and Lewiston Mayor Alfred Plourde, is expected to be on hand.
