Between 7 a.m. Friday, April 24, and 7 a.m. Friday May 1, Lewiston Police responded to 705 calls for service. Of those calls, 155 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

Creative Glass at 25 Middle St. had extensive damage to a fence that was under construction overnight April 26 – April 27.

Mailboxes were smashed at 111, 131, 144 and 153 Ferry Road, 19 and 228 Dyer Road overnight April 25 – April 26.

A window was broken at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee – 190 Birch St. at 2 p.m. on April 30. The suspects were a group of juveniles who threw a rock.

A vehicle parked at 80 Pine St. had a mirror broken sometime overnight April 28 – April 29.

A vehicle parked at 126 Blake St. had a window broken overnight April 24 – April 25.

A window at 277 Lisbon St. was broken by a BB gun at 7:50 p.m. on April 30.

A vehicle parked in the Chestnut Street Garage was damaged by a small rock or BB gun sometime between 6 p.m. April 24 and 9 a.m. April 25.

The old Sounds Easy Video at 449 Sabattus St. was tagged with graffiti sometime overnight April 27 – April 28.

At 3 p.m. on April 25 officers were dispatched to the reservoir on Jill Street for a report of graffiti. The damage occurred overnight April 24 – April 25. Neighbors have complained that a residence across from 77 Jill St. recently became vacant and a teenage resident had been using it to host drinking parties. Officers investigated and found a teenager who was identified and summonsed for the damage.

The University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College at 51 Westminster St. was tagged with graffiti overnight April 25 – April 26.

A building and vehicle at 35 Westminster St. were tagged with graffiti sometime prior to 5 p.m. on April 26.

Thefts

An employee of Pine Tree Telemarketing at 134 Main St. had medications stolen from her purse sometime prior to 10 p.m. on April 27.

A resident of Russell Park Manor at 158 Russell St. had money taken from his or her room prior to 3 p.m. on April 28.

A Maine conservation license plate, 117G, was stolen from a vehicle that was parked at 11 Martin Dr. sometime between April 24 and April 28.

A black lawn dethatcher was stolen between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on April 24 from the front lawn of 18 Ashmount St.

A black Razorback Electric go cart was stolen from the driveway of 55 Foch St. The suspects were described as two men in a yellow dump truck wearing yellow traffic vests.

A Chrome Dyno Craft bicycle with rear foot pegs was stolen from 137 Pierce St. sometime between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on April 24.

Burglaries

Sarah Jeanne’s at 77 Sabattus St. was burglarized overnight April 26 – April 27. This is the third similar burglary in a week. There are no signs of forced entry. Money is taken from the cash drawer.

An apartment at 220 Blake St. was burglarized between 11 p.m. April 27 and 9 a.m. April 28. A rear door was kicked in to gain entry, a 32-inch, flat-screen TV was taken.

At 3:53 p.m. on April 26 officers responded to the EZ Mart at 1104 Lisbon St. for an alarm. Upon arrival they found the door had been smashed. A witness also spotted two teenagers running from the store. Another witness was able to identify one of the suspects as a teenage resident of the area. A review of the store’s video showed him entering the store, stealing cigarettes, and then fleeing. He was also identified as the suspect in all of the graffiti that had occurred throughout the industrial park that same evening.

Counterfeiting

A customer of Maine Family Credit Union received a counterfeit $100 bill on April 27. The bill originated from either Central Maine Credit Union on Lisbon Street or Maine Family on Sabattus Street.

Operating After Suspension

Derrick Albert, 40, was charged with operating after suspension, eluding an officer, criminal speeding, and violating conditions of release at 1:19 a.m. on April 28 at 38 Walnut St. following a brief police chase, which ended after the suspect vehicle crashed.

Donald Billings, 25, was charged with operating without a license at 3:58 p.m. on April 28 at the corner of Bartlett and Walnut streets.

Operating Under the Influence

Matthew Daigle, 28, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:13 a.m. on April 25 at 115 Bartlett St.

Zachary Caron, 25, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:23 a.m. on April 26 at the corner of Webster Street and Reservoir Avenue.

Tammy Warren, 39, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:34 a.m. on April 26 at the corner of Ash and Bradley streets.

Wanted

Joel Hayden, 27, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for operating under the influence.

Elijah Mason, 22, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for carrying a concealed weapon.

Mark Pattershall, 28, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for driving without a license.
