LOUDON, N.H. (AP) – A competition testing 30 teams of engineering students on the design and fabrication of hybrid-powered race cars is going on at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Pro engineers from the automotive and motorsport industries are scoring teams on their proficiency in design an their car’s track-performance.

Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering is hosting the event, which runs through Wednesday.
