LEWISTON – Oxford Networks recently hired Jeremy Nelson as system administrator at its Lewiston headquarters. He is responsible for setting up, configuring and supporting all internal and external networks, developing and maintaining systems, and security, and evaluating and making recommendations for system upgrades, patches and new applications.

Prior to coming to Oxford Networks, Nelson worked as a senior systems administrator for Magna Carta Companies in New York City, and as a technical trainer for Red Hat in Raleigh, N.C. He is a certified Red Hat engineer, instructor and examiner. Nelson is a graduate of Westbrook High School and lives in Westbrook. He enjoys hiking and fishing.
