Acoustic trio returns to Little Dan’s

Broad Street Trio will perform at Little Dan’s BBQ this Saturday, May 9. The restaurant/pub is located on Main Street in Lewiston, across the street from Marden’s.

An acoustic selection of popular cover tunes will be offered between 8:30 pm and midnight. Admission is free. Celeste Onofrio is the trio’s lead vocalist. Her husband, Michael, plays lead guitar and high school classmate John Rabassa plays saxophone and rhythm guitar. All three local musicians have been performing in a variety of rock bands since the early 80s.

The trio is a stripped-down version of their rock band. This weekend, the trio will be accompanied by Auburn bassist Todd Corey and Steve McManus on conga drums. The group is well known for encouraging audience participation.
