Relay fundraiser

FARMINGTON – An American Cancer Society Relay For Life Mother’s day pie and dessert sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. until gone on Saturday, May 9, in the Wal-Mart parking lot. All varieties will be available and special requests may be called in to 314-0859 by noon Friday, May 8.

The event is being sponsored by Franklin Memorial Hospital Healing Hands. Proceeds will benefit the Franklin County Relay For Life Team.

Benefit dinner

WILTON – A Giving Thanks for Teri Benefit Dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Wilson Grange Hall, Main Street.

A turkey dinner will all the fixings will be served, with proceeds to benefit Teri Miess, who suffered a stroke early in March. Cost will be $7 for adults; $5 for children under 10. There will be homemade pies for dessert.
