GLENBURN, Maine (AP) — Maine State Police say an Orrington man faces multiple charges after allegedly leading a trooper on a high-speed chase that reached speeds of nearly 120 mph.
Jeremy Lovley was jailed Wednesday night after being charged with eluding a police officer; improper passing; raising the front wheel of his motorcycle off the road; and criminal speed for traveling 112 mph in a 25 mph zone.
Trooper Forrest Simpson told the Bangor Daily News that the chase began in Bangor and ended in Glenburn, with Lovley at times weaving in and out of heavy traffic.
