NORWAY – Priscilla McAllister, 71, of South Paris, died Tuesday, May 5, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1937, the eldest daughter of Alton and Marguerite (Brown) Swan. She graduated from Paris High School in 1956. After graduation, she married Raynold McAllister on May 4, 1956.

She worked at the former Wilner Wood Products which was located in South Paris and later for Shop & Save and Ledgeview Motel. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and a woman’s club called the Chatteress.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Raynold of South Paris; a son, Ricky McAllister and his wife, Yvonne; a daughter, Tausha McAllister and her fiancé, Tim Clifton; a sister, Agnes Roberts of Waterford; a brother, Alton Swan Jr. and his wife, Melinda, of Danville, Calif.; one grandchild, Joshua McAllister; sister-in-law, Kellie Allen; a brother-in-law, Robert and his wife, Jean McAllister, of Hilton Head, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Baby.
