NORWAY – Lewis Robinson, author of the novel “Water Dogs” (Random House, January 2009), will be at Norway Memorial Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, to read from his novel and talk about the writing experience.

Robinson last visited the library in October 2007 to speak about short story writing at the kickoff to the library’s Celebration of the Short Story.

His collection, “Officer Friendly and Other Stories,” (HarperCollins, 2003), received the Pen/Oakland Josephine Miles Award. From that collection, “The Diver” and “Seeing the World” were read on Public Radio International’s Selected Shorts.

Robinson teaches writing at the Stonecoast MFA program at the University of Southern Maine. He lives in Portland with his wife, daughter and dog.
