LEWISTON – “Helping Brothers and Sisters of Children with Cancer” will be the topic of a free telephone education workshop on Thursday, May 14, sponsored by the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center. The conference is open to parents, caregivers and professionals.

The teleconference, offered by CancerCare Connect, will address the needs and issues of siblings of children with cancer. It will include information about how to talk to siblings, plus additional resources. The teleconference will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

CancerCare Connect offers teleconferences about cancer issues. Information is provided by oncology experts from around the country.
