LEWISTON – The Stanton Bird Club has announced the appointment of Sue Sturgis to the board of directors.

Sturgis recently retired from Mechanics Savings Bank as vice president. She and husband, Jeff, live in Minot where they feed the birds as well as walk, hike and snowshoe.

Sturgis is involved in other community service organizations, including Trinity Jubilee and United Way boards.

The Stanton Bird Club is a conservation organization offering free monthly natural history programs and field trips throughout the state.
