GORHAM, Maine (AP) — A remote video camera that streams live on the Internet has captured images of two eagle eggs hatching high in a white pine tree in central Maine.
The Biodiversity Research Institute in Gorham said visitors to its Web site can now get a live look at how the eagles are faring in their first days after hatching late last week.
The nonprofit ecological research group also has Web cameras aimed at peregrine falcons, loons, ospreys and finches at undisclosed locations around the state.
