RANGELEY – Funeral services for Helen Schinas were held Friday at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Rangeley, with the Rev. Amelia Hagen officiating. Louise Doak served as the Chalice bearer and Susan Downes-Borko was the featured musician. Members of the family offered words of remembrance. The Old Testament reading was from the Book of Lamentations. The Epistle was from Second Corinthians and the gospel reading was John 14:1-6. “Amazing Grace” was a featured hymn with “Holy, Holy, Holy” the offertory hymn and the post communion hymn was “Rock of Ages.” “The Prayer” was the music featured in the processional. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery and the family gathered with friends at the Gingerbread House in Oquossoc following the interment. The funeral services were cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
