DERBY, Conn. – Jane Parker Hill, 79, of Seymour, Conn., and Poland Spring, the granddaughter of the late Leo Bingley and Anna Weislogel Hatch, entered into rest on Saturday, May 9, at Griffin Hospital.

She was born in North Conway, N.H., on March 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Donald W. and Loretta Hatch Hill. She was an active member of the Seymour Congregational Church since 1945, and served on the Parish Life Committee of the church and was a member of its choir. She was greatly loved by everyone.

She retired in 1991 after 44 years of employment as the receptionist/telephone operator of the Kerite Co. of Seymour and had been a resident of Seymour since 1938. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time in Poland Spring.

She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Her loving family includes her brothers, Richard D. Hill of Intervale, N.H., and Ronald W. Hill and his wife, Alice, of Jackson, N.H.; her sister, Anne Htoo and her husband, Maung, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Doralei (Dodo) Knight.
