AUBURN – Jonathan LaBonte, an Androscoggin County commissioner, will join 24 other county officials from across the United States for a four-day leadership program later this month in New York City
The National Association of Counties chose LaBonte, who lives in Auburn, following his nomination by Maine county leaders.
The program, held at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, will examine the economic recovery. LaBonte plans to pay his own costs for the program.
