Debby Smith takes a look at a boy’s bathroom with stalls that have no doors during an open house at Edward Little High School on Saturday morning. About 150 people showed up for student-led tours and a discussion with the Edward Little Building Committee on the need to renovate the building or build a new school . Smith’s son Alex is a sophomore at EL and her husband Brent graduated from the school in 1974. The high school opened in 1961.

Superintendent Tom Morrill said open house attendance “far exceeded any expectation, all of our expectations.”

The building committee will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Auburn Hall to discuss renovations vs. building new. The meeting is open to the public.
