AUBURN – School and emergency officials will stage a mock fatal accident Tuesday morning, May 19, at Edward Little High School to highlight the dangers of drinking and driving.
The accident scene will be the lower student parking lot adjacent to the track facility. Emergency vehicles will stage at Sacred Heart Church, proceeding to the accident scene between 9:15 and 9:20 a.m.
Emergency response will include extrication of mock accident victims, the performing of sobriety tests and emergency medical response to the victims, including one deceased victim.
Once the exercise is over, the students will hear from several speakers including District Attorney Norm Croteau on the laws and consequences of underage drinking.
