Deanna Trudeau, Americanism officer for Chapter 111, American Legion Riders, Turner, picked the winner of the spring turkey hunt at a recent meeting. The winner was Tyler Holliday of Livermore. Registered Maine Guide Everett Leonard will take Holliday hunting during May. Everett and Tyler Leonard took Travis Berry, 12, Turner, and Blaine Arsenault, 11, Greene, hunting on Youth Day May 1 and each shot a tom turkey. The chapter teaches hunting basics.
