NORWAY – Leroy R. Herrick, 70, of Norway died Tuesday, May 19, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
He was born in West Paris, on July 22, 1938, the son of Myron and Ethelyn Gibbs Herrick. He attended West Paris schools. He was employed doing general construction work. He married Virginia Dewhirst on Oct. 18, 1956.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved NASCAR and was a member of the Oxford County Fair Association and worked tirelessly at the fairgrounds.
He is survived by his wife of Norway; son, Jeffrey and his wife, Susan, of South Paris and their children, Christina and Christopher, and a great-grandson, Camden; daughter, Tammy Pelletier and her husband, Dan, of Arizona, and their children, Kyle Mitchell, Bryce and Paige Pelletier; son, Toby and his wife, Cheryl, of Norway, and their children, Nichelle, Coty and Tanner; a brother, Edward of Sumner; and a sister, Doris Green of South Paris.
He was predeceased by a brother, Albert.
