MEXICO – A 30-year-old Mexico man was arrested on a charge of domestic assault Saturday morning at 3 a.m.

Dixfield police Sgt. Jeff Howe said his town’s officer, Eric Bernier, made the arrest because the Mexico police officers were busy with another case in their town.

Mark Marston of Brigham Street, which is where the arrest took place, was taken to the Rumford Police Department where he was released on $800 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court of July 7.
