Dear Sun Spots: I am happy to see that you continue to assist the community with your interesting column. Thanks to you and many others, St. Martin’s Bargain Basket continues its mission to support the St. Martin de Porres Residence for homeless men and women.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We would like to invite everyone to check out our spring clearance specials. Many items are reduced, some at half price.

We appeal to your readers to remember us when doing their spring cleaning. We are in need of good used furniture, such as beds, bureaus, baby furniture, tables, recliners, chairs and pots and pans. Items can be brought to the Bargain Basket during business hours. Thank you sincerely for your generous support for those in need. – CAL, CM, Volunteers.

Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for a hose only for an Electrolux vacuum cleaner. The powerhead would be of interest also, but for the time being I am most in need of the hose. If a reader has a hose for sale, please contact me at 897-3036. – MB, Livermore Falls.

Answer: Contact the Vac Shak, 485 Pleasant St., Lewiston, at 783-2902, to see if they have what you need. Also, call Aerus Electrolux at 800-898-1303 to locate a representative in your area for parts. You may also consider contacting Robert Russell, located in Mechanic Falls, who sells and repairs commercial and residential floor care systems and may be able to get the part you need. He can be reached at 345-5101 or 446-1590.

Dear Sun Spots: Will the person who took the black pillow from the Park Avenue Church Easter play please return it to the church or to me? My name and phone number were on it; I need it for health reasons.

I didn’t think people would steal from the church, how wrong. Call 777-1540. – Edwina Bonney, Auburn.
