Lucy Ricker Sheehan puts mulch around the flowers that she and her extended family planted at the Ricker Cemetery in Poland Spring on Saturday. Sheehan is a sixth-generation descendant of Hiram Ricker, who sold the first bottle of Poland Spring water in 1859. Sheehan and her family plant flowers in the cemetery each Memorial Day Weekend. She was born in Lewiston and now lives in Norwell, Mass.
