Lorette Rancourt puts flowers on the grave of her son, David Rancourt, at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston on Sunday. David Rancourt served two tours in Iraq during his 20 years of service with the U.S. Army Reserve. He died at the age of 40 while diving for evidence in the Androscoggin River as a member of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Dive team. “At least he has flowers,” said Lorette Rancourt of Augusta.
