SACO – Dora A. Nadeau, 94, of 50 Free St., Saco, and formerly of 45 East Ave., Lewiston, died Saturday, May 24, at her home.

Born in Lewiston on May 12, 1915, a daughter of Elude and Margaret Gardner Michaud, she was educated in Lewiston schools.

She was married to Antonio W. Nadeau who died March 9, 1976.

Mrs. Nadeau was a member of Saints Peter and Paul’s Parish in Lewiston and volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital for 10 years.

She worked as a sample stitcher at Dori Shoe prior to her retirement in 1977.

She will be remembered for her love of people and family.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Albert Jacqueline Carignan, of Biddeford; four grandchildren, Michael and Stephanie Carignan of Saco, Peter and Barbara Carignan of Norton, Mass., Robert and Margaret Carignan of Portland, and Christopher and Christina Carignan of Natick, Mass.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Yvonne Maillet and Cecile Dufresne.
