TOPSHAM – Robert K. Wilson, 83, of Topsham, died Monday, May 25, at his home.

Robert was born at Mt. Vernon on Nov. 8, 1925, a son of Joseph H. and Nellie E. French Wilson, and attended Richmond schools.

He worked at the Brunswick Naval Air Station for 33 years as a pipe fitter, as well as working in plumbing and heating. He retired from there in May 1982.

He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, boating and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He attended St. John the Baptist Church in Brunswick, and also St. John’s Church in Winslow.

Robert is survived by his four sons, Kevin and his wife, Susie, of Frye Island, Dana of Brunswick, Galen and his wife, Carrie, of Ludlow, Mass, and Shawn and his wife, Melodie, of Cumberland; his fiancée, Theresa Plante, of Winslow; two brothers, Gerald Wilson of Lewiston, and David Winslow of Deerfield, N.Y.; a sister, Margaret Darrow of Elmira, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Keith Wilson, Ericka and Travis Wilson, and Alisha and Kyle Wilson.
