Bells to ring

RANGELEY – A performance by the Pine Tree Academy Bell Ringers will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.

The group of 11 young musicians, grades nine through 12, play five octaves (61 bells) of English handbells and five octaves of choir chimes. In past years, the group has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Bermuda and Iceland, as well as in many countries in South America and Europe.

All are welcome. Admission is free.

Spring auction

WINDSOR – The Kennebec County 4-H Leaders Association is sponsoring a Spring Fling Ticket Auction on Saturday, May 30, at the Windsor Fairgrounds, Route 32.

The doors will open at 4 p.m. and bidding will close at 5:30. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students (age 4 and under free), which includes dinner and five tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased at 10 tickets for $1. Proceeds from the auction will be used to provide scholarships for 4-H youth and volunteers. It is open to the public.

Grange supper

NORTH JAY – A public supper will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the North Jay Grange 10, corner of Routes 4 and 17. There will be baked beans, casseroles, salads, coleslaw, rolls, beverages and dessert.
