WILTON – The grand master of Masons in Maine and his suite of grand lodge officers will hold semi-public cornerstone and dedication ceremonies at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the new Harland Harnden Masonic Hall, Bryant Road, East Wilton.
The new lodge houses Wilton Lodge 156, Maine Lodge 20, Jepthah Council 17, Franklin Chapter 34 and Pilgrim Commandery 19.A light luncheon will be served at 11:30. Tours of the building and collections will be available.
The building will be used for many regular meetings as well as a variety of public benefit activities such as the SeniorsPlus lunch program on Monday and Thursday afternoons and community meetings.
The new Masonic building holds the lodge and also has a large dining hall and kitchen. Hall rentals are available for small parties, receptions and gatherings.
