AUBURN – Special Olympic athletes, coaches and their families from the Lewiston-Auburn community are invited to participate in the worship service at the United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 31.

Athletes are encouraged to wear their team colors and bring any medals from prior Olympics. All athletes, coaches and family members will be recognized in the service and sent forth with a blessing as they participate in the summer Special Olympics that begin on Friday, June 5, in Orono.

A reception in honor of all Special Olympians will be held following the worship service. The church is located at 439 Park Ave. For more information, call the church at 782-3972.
