FARMINGTON – Franklin Memorial Hospital was recently designated as a 2009 Professional Research Consultants recipient of five- and four-star national excellence in health care awards in laboratory services, nursing care and emergency services.

PRC is a nationally known healthcare research company headquartered in Omaha, Neb.

The awards came as a result of research that was conducted to obtain the opinions of 90 percent of the medical staff at Franklin Community Health Network and Franklin Memorial Hospital via confidential telephone interviews to assess their perceptions of hospital operations and patient care. Their results were compared to a database of physician responses-providing a baseline from which FCHN and FMH can gauge its medical staff’s perceptions-against those practicing in other hospitals across the country.
