PARIS – Troy Ripley has announced his bid for election to the Board of Selectmen.

“By working together with the other selectmen and the town manager, we can insure Paris will be a place where all our families can afford to live,” Ripley said.

Ripley, 46, graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in 1980 and also earned a bachelor of science degree from Regents College in Albany, N.Y. He is a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and owns a construction company “specializing in building affordable homes for people who work in our community.”

Ripley is a member of the town’s Budget Committee.

Ripley and his wife, Jeri, have been married 28 years and have three children.
