FARMINGTON – The Maine Healthcare Information Technology Symposium will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 12 at the Ben Franklin Center at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The conference is targeted toward professionals working in health care information technology in Maine. Topics to be covered include:

• “The Impact of the Economic Stimulus Package for Maine’s Health Care IT Community,” with Pat Morin, a principal at Baker, Newman and Noyes accounting firm.

• “HealthInfoNet Update on the Pilot Project,” by Dev Culver, executive director, HealthInfoNet.

• “Show Me the HIT Grant Money,” by Cathy Bruno, vice president and CIO, and Jean Mellett, director of planning, Eastern Maine Health System.
