Students from the Gail Ouelette Head Start in Farmington enjoyed an outing and picnic in Meetinghouse Park on Tuesday. Seminole Wind members Jeff and Donna Wells performed a noon-time concert in the park gazebo. Parents of the 12 students, ages 3 to 5, raised money for the outing so the children could take turns going to Devaney, Doak and Garrett Booksellers on Broadway to buy books, teacher Debbie Kendall said.
