AUBURN – Arthur J. Roy, adjutant and senior vice commander of the Capt. Frank W. Hulett Post 1603, Veterans of Foreign Wars, has received a paid appointment to the 110th National Convention, which will be held on Aug. 15 to 20, in Phoenix, Ariz. Roy will serve on the General Resolutions Committee.

Commander-in-Chief Glen M. Gardner Jr. of Texas recently announced the appointment of Roy for the work he has done this year in the membership program.

Roy is serving the Department of Maine, VFW, as Public Relations Officer, State Membership Chairman, Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chairman and Chief of Staff. He lives on Russell Street in Lewiston.
