This online application lets you extract the audio portion of YouTube videos so you can hear them as separate files – but remember, this is only designed for noncopyrighted material.
1. Locate the video on YouTube (in this case, Chopin’s “Nocturne”), and copy the URL.
2. Paste the URL into the template on ListenToYouTube.com, and click on “GO.” The application will take a minute (sometimes more) to extract the audio and convert it.
3. Once the process is complete, click on the “DOWNLOAD MP3” command at the base of the screen, and the file will be saved to your hard drive. You are also given the option of processing another video.
