PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Portland police are looking for a suspect in a weekend shooting near the city’s Old Port that left a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Police say 23-year-old Natividad Pagan of Philadelphia was shot after getting into an altercation with another man at the corner of Pleasant and Center streets just after midnight early Sunday morning.

Pagan was taken to Maine Medical Center with injuries police said were not life-threatening.

Police are looking for the suspect, who drove off in a white pickup truck.
