BETHEL – Incumbent assessor and Selectman Robert Everett won re-election to both three-year seats in Tuesday’s municipal election.
Everett, who was running unopposed, got 234 votes for the assessor position and 208 for selectman, Town Clerk Christen Mason said.
Town Manager Scott Cole got 36 write-in votes for the selectman seat and seven write-in votes for the assessor term, Mason said. Cole’s contract, which expires June 30, wasn’t renewed by selectmen.
Incumbent SAD 44 director Pat Nasta was re-elected to another three years with 235 votes.
Kristen Drew got 48 write-in votes to win a second SAD 44 school board seat left vacant when Becky Cummings chose not to seek re-election, Mason said.
