AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens Club will host a Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner for members at noon Wednesday, June 17, in the St. Louis Church Hall basement.

Choices will be grilled chicken, fried chicken or chicken pie. The cost is $4 and tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, June 10.

The group met on Wednesday, June 3, with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. June birthdays were noted and token gifts were given. New members welcomed were Pauline Rancourt, Anita Simons, Sherry Porter, Lionel Montminy and Delores Montminy.

Pot of gold winners were Flo Webber, Louise Cormier, Roland Berry, Robert Labrie, Thomas McDonald and Ron Cote. Irene Beauchesne won the 50/50.

Under new business, it was decided to hold regular meetings, dinner and bingo through June, July and August, and close for January and February.

The meeting was adjourned, a light lunch was served and bingo was played. Open bingo for seniors age 60 and over will be on Wednesdays, June 10 and 24. The next regular meeting will be on Wednesday, July 1.
