VASSALBORO (AP) – Residents of the small central Maine town of Vassalboro – where a topless coffee shop was recently destroyed by fire – have voted overwhelmingly to approve an adult-only businesses ordinance.
The town meeting vote Monday night makes the ordinance effective immediately.
The Kennebec Journal reported that it regulates where, when and how “sexually oriented businesses” may operate in Vassalboro.
The coffee shop burned to the ground last Wednesday morning in a fire that has been ruled arson.
