AUBURN – Carlton A. “Butch” Tripp Sr., 66, of Mechanic Falls, passed away on June 4 of cancer.
He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 10, 1942, the son of Carl S. Tripp and Marjorie Cross Tripp.
He spent many years working at Crosby Laughlin in Portland, Lake Region Lumber and Hancock Lumber in Casco. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Norman Tripp; brother, David Tripp of Farmingdale; daughters, Marie Paul, Terry Collins and Holly Hodgkins; son, Carlton Tripp Jr.; six grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Adam, Josh, Heather and Brittany; and three great-grandchildren, Will, Jack and Jameson.
